Annie is a highly qualified, experienced and skilled practitioner. During her time as Senco at Grendon CE Primary School, standards for all learners and in all parts of the school improved significantly. Prompt and effective action meant that the needs of the school’s most vulnerable pupils were always understood and prioritised, helping the school to create a culture of inclusion and high aspirations for all. This was in no small part due to Annie’s commitment and expertise within Special Educational Needs.
Annie has completed several Dsylexia assessments at my primary school to diagnose children with learning difficulties. She has a lovely manner with the children, making them feel comfortable and building their self-esteem throughout her time with them. Annie provided a detailed report for every child, detailing recommendations for the school to put in place to better support the child. Her knowledge and recommendations has had a significant impact on the support provided for children who have undertaken an assessment, and this has been crucial to supporting their individual progress. Parents have been very grateful of Annie’s detailed reports and communication during the process. I would highly recommend Annie to other schools and Senco’s who require a Dsylexia assessment or advice on how to further support children in their school.
